Join Savita to discover the Sicilian Spirit through Yoga & Meditation, two fantastic guided outings to see some of the local highlights and Enjoy Life at a beautifully restored 17th century farmhouse, The Masseria, surrounded by 25 hectares of lush private park. Participate in optional hikes, enjoying the Fall foliage, the secret paths within a hidden centuries-old oak forest and mingle with the locals to take part in their annual mushroom hunt; learn about olive harvest and follow its transformation into extra-virgin olive oil. Partake in a traditional Sicilian cooking class and enjoy deliciously prepared Sicilian vegetarian meals prepared with the very own products of this certified organic farm.
Accommodation: Single w/private bathroom $2300 –single w/shared bathroom $2100– double w/shared bathroom $1600. The single and double rooms with shared bath are located in five cottages with their own private patio and kitchenette. Each cottage has one room w/door and one double room which is separated by a heavy curtain. Both rooms share one standard bathroom. All beds can be separated.
Retreat Terms: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your spot. Balance payment is due by May 30, 2023 and is non-refundable after this date. For late payments after May 30, 2023 please include a $75 processing fee. Covid-19 Guidelines: Due to the intimacy of a yoga retreat with physical closeness in the yoga room, dining facilities, on shared buses, etc. I am requesting for all participants to have had either a Covid Booster shot or proof of positive PCR test documenting a Covid illness within 6 months prior to the retreat. Vaccine documentation and/or PCR test results will need to be available. If the Covid situation changes in Italy prior to our retreat date, please stay tuned for an update.
Your retreat price includes 7 nights accommodation, daily yoga & meditation, daily vegetarian large brunch and dinner, hot coffee and tea all day in the Tea lounge, full and exclusive use of lounges, swimming pool and all other public areas of the Masseria and of its park, free wifi in the lounge area, two guided bus tours with local guide.
Not included are international airfare, shuttle service from Catania or Palermo airport, massages, travel insurance, additional optional excursions. For international travel it is favorable to fly into either Rome or Milano and from there choose a local flight to either Palermo or Catania.

Sicily’s long and storied history goes back to when it was first settled by the ancient Greeks. Throughout history, Sicily saw a mix of conquerors, from the Arabs to the Spanish to the French. This melting pot of cultures combined to form the unique spirit of Sicily is evident today in its art, music, and its food…our local English speaking guide will skillfully lead us to some of these amazing sites to explore the riches of the Sicilian heritage.
Italy Extension: Sorrento, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast Oct 21-25, 2023
Join us for an additional 4 nights at a Historic Italian Villa in beautiful Sorrento…from there we will enjoy two individual day trips, one to explore the fascinating history of Pompeii and another one to take in the breathtaking beauty of the Amalfi Coast, plus there will be time to discover Sorrento, it’s old town, monuments, delightful restaurants or just relax on our roof top terrace…costs will range from $600-$700 (there might be some variance to costs depending on number of participants) which includes a 4-night stay, 2 tours, and transportation from and to Naples airport.
